Fight a bear!

Here I will fight the bear then copy to my journal entry.
As far as bear tactics I read nothing as to the order it would use its attacks so this bear will claw, bite, maul and repeat.

Description - The Ranger takes careful aim with his crossbow. The bear growls slowly as he catches eyes with him. A bolt lurches off of the bow and flies through the air. It pierces deep into the bear's flesh. The bear lets out a shallow yelp as it feels metal sink beneath its fur.

Bear's turn: The bear charges toward the small human. His claws out as he prepares for his assault.

The Bear swings his massive paw at the human. The claw misses its target as the ranger cleverly shifts his body avoiding the attack.

Bort's turn: Shift back from the bear. Load Crossbow. Use Assassins Shroud. Use Skirmish Shot.

Bort Backs away from the target as he steadies his crossbow for another shot.

Description: The bear screams loudly as a second bolt pierces its hide. Blood flows from the wounds as the bear stands shaken by the assault. Rage flows from the eyes of the bear as it prepares to assault its atttacker.

Bear's turn: The bear closes the distance to the ranger and attempts to bite his prey.

The bear lunges forwards with its jaws primed for its target, but as he shifts his weight the pain from the embedded bolt causes the bear to stumble and the bite to fall short.

Bort calls a second assassin's shroud onto the bear. Bort drops his trusty crossbow as he effortlessly arms himself with a dagger.

Description: The bear feels darkness close in around it. It feels like it will be overcome when a quick blade slashes deeply into its head. The strength the bear once displayed is now overcome with a desire to simply survive as the bear starts to realize its own mortality. In a final attempt to overcome its attacker it rears onto its massive hind legs.

Conclusion: As the bear slashes, the Rogue is prepared and stepping under the claw slides up to the bear burying the entire blade of his dagger into the Bear's Chest. The bear's life is ended in this moment and the massive creature falls backwards slamming to the ground. With the bear defeated, Bort carefully cuts the claws off the bear. He removes the entire head and stores it in his pack along with as much meat as he can carry.

I approve of this battle and and xp that would be received. I recommend 1 quest point for epic bear slaughter-ness. And a Perfection medal for taking no damage.
