So after creating a bunch of characters Sunday night I thought it would be a good idea to have a topic devoted to working out character ideas. Not really for our tabletop games but just for fun. So let's get started!

Hobbits with axes
Hobithor, the young half-ling who was raised by orcs and thus wants to be a barbarian. Unfortunately, he spends more time reading and less training with his Step-fathers incredibly oversized battle axe

Re: Fun character concepts
The worst Rogue ever: Lumpy. A charismatic Minotaur who enjoys over indulging in both the finest foods and the finest wines. Unfortunately, the finest foods and wines are not always available which makes lumpy extremely irritated. You could say he has a bit of an anger problem. He is very loud and tends to yell. He also has no problem with charging at someone to show his disapproval. This does not always end well. It turns out that a lifetime of gratuitous gluttony makes quickly traversing terrain somewhat problematic. Although, when an overweight Minotaur is running, people tend to pay attention, and if he is running in your direction, you tend to pay quite a bit of attention.

He could be a ruthless ruffian and attack with the leg bone of a large animal (owlbear?) that he just got finished eating.... that counts as a club right?

Re: Fun character concepts
I don't see why not. I hear owlbear bones make great clubs. I also hear that owlbear taste delicious if prepeared by a skilled owlbear preparer. But only then because their meat tends to be a little tough. It is great for stews though in case you get a less good cut.
