Vectros arrives in Bartopia

As Vectros rides into Bartopia on his horse, begins asking around for Bort the Rogue Ranger...

Unbeknownst to the Paladin, he was being watched after crossing the ford. As he traveled towards the town he was stopped on the road by a large man carrying a massive sword. His armor and helmet were dark and an evil aura was radiating out from him. The Paladin felt the hate in his eyes and then prayed to his god because he knew this battle would be difficult and unavoidable. He dismounted his horse and drew his sword. He then realized that he had been followed. As he looked around he saw he was surrounded by warriors who were all dressed like the one who stood before him. He turns back around and where the one warrior stood, there are now many. The forest around him becomes dark. On all sides the dark clad warriors begin to move towards him. The Paladin raises his sword and to his dismay the blade was cracked and began to splinter. Darkness fell upon him and he could see nothing except a dark warrior's sword as it fell right into his... The Paladin arrives outside the town. The place is mostly quiet on this day. He is approached by a pair a young men carrying bows as he nears who ask him of his business. They send word of his summon to the home of Bort.
