oh goodness lets see if this helps. Kran moves toward the nearest lever at (1,7 )and pulls it.

As Kran pulls the lever there seems to be no real effect. Giaus how ever has a strange look on his face in reaction to the movement of the lever.
Hmm..... all of the sudden I feel a strong arcane presence in the room. One thing's for sure: something happened as a result of you pulling that lever...
Gaius moves towards Kran to get a better look at the lever but is abruptly halted. He raises his hand to his head and rubs it as if he'd been struck.
Well now, it seems that the lever has activated some sort of arcane barrier... This has made our situation go from slightly problematic to downright difficult.... Let me see if I can figure out how to get to another lever...
Gaius makes his move with his hands stretched out feeling for the walls as he moves along.

Bort attempts to travel south towards the lever located at (9,3)

First attempt is to square (9,6).

Shall we continue? But before he can get a response from his friends Kran exits the room in search of more adventure!

Indeed, I can't stand to be in this room another minute! Onward Bort!
Gaius follows Kran out of the room....

Come on Bort adventure awaits...oh and treasure if I had to guess! Kran bellows as he is leaving.

Ummmm..... YEAH! Bort yells aloud as he chases after his eager comrades.

The heroes venture forth through the doorway. As they pass through, they see that they are in a stone walkway which leads up. There are torches lit on both sides of the walkway leading them to a new room. As soon as they enter the room, a large stone pillar comes smashing down from the ceiling above barely missing the heroes as they leap out of it's path. The pillar however now completely seals off the path from which they came. The room they find themselves in now is well lit, rectangular in shape and has a small statue in the middle of the room. The statue is a depiction of a confused Kobold with his arms crisscrossed and pointing to the left and right. Incidentally to the left and the right are two stone doors. The room is small and is about 40' from the door on the left to the door on the right, and about 20' from the blocked path the adventures came from to the back wall. There appears to be no other noteworthy feature to this room...

Hmmm.....trapped again. So, which way now? Bort speaks as he looks around the room.

As Kran looks around the room, he notices nothing out of the ordinary aside from a statue in the middle of the room. While scanning the room for clues of what to do next, he recalls reading about some rooms like this in the book "Dungeons, Dungeons, Dungeons!" which detailed various characteristics of dungeons such as this one. Rooms like this were called "decision rooms". They are rooms which split the path through a dungeon in two or more different branches. Often times there are mechanisms (switches, levers, buttons, and such) to control which one of the branches is open and accessible to the traveler. But because it is a decision room, only one path is typically available at a time and sometimes once a decision is made, it cannot be unmade.

Kran contemplates over what to do as Gaius and Bort also examine the room...

That is a good question... want to take a vote? Gaius says half in jest.

Kran, in passing, notices that both doors are without handles, door knobs, or anything of the sort. They must then be opened using some sort of mechanism which is unseen.

Bort approaches the statue and examines it closely. He runs his hand around the statue searching for a switch of some kind.

Do you think we could force one of those doors? Bort says aloud to his comrades.

Bort finds no switch of any kind. The statue seems to be made of stone. It has a square base but no other special feature about it aside from the figure of a confused Kobold which stands on top of the square stone base

Hmmm I'm not very strong...and aside from that, there has to be some sort of trigger, latch, switch, lever...something. Then again, it never hurts to try... right Kran?
Gaius looks at his large friend waiting for a response.

Hmm Kran walks over and pulls on the statues arms... like a boss.

As Kran pulls on the statue's arm, the arm remains still, the statue is made of stone. But as he pulls, the statue moves a bit and Kran realizes that it is not as heavy as it appears, and that he can slide it easily.

I think that statute just moved a little. Give it another push Kran! Bort speaks with much jelly and zeal.

Kran pushed at the base of the statue in an attempt to move the whole thing!
